Information about Electronic Visa (eVisa) for Japan
Japanese Government is planning on introducing an Electronic Visa System by April 2020. In an effort to boost their tourism, the new electronic visa for Japan will be first available to Chinese citizens, and then to many other countries, which are still to be confirmed.
Japan's electronic visa is expected to be available to many countries, among which some currently need to obtain a visa, for which it will greatly easy the process; but also the 66 countries that can currently travel visa-exempt, which include, among others, the countries of the EU, North America and Australia.
