The Japanese government plans to introduce an Electronic Visa (eVisa) system by April 2020. In an effort to boost its tourism, the new electronic visa for Japan will first be available to Chinese citizens and then to many other countries, which have not yet been they have confirmed.
Japan's electronic visa is expected to be available to many countries, among which some currently need to obtain a visa, which will greatly facilitate the paperwork; but also the 66 countries that can currently travel without any visa, which includes, among others, the countries of the EU, North America and Australia.
